There is currently no Chinese NFL since the National Football League (NFL) is an American professional football league. However, the sport of American football has gained some popularity in China in recent years and there have been efforts to promote the sport in the country with the hopes of eventually establishing a professional league. The NFL has also been organizing events and games in China to increase interest in the sport. In 2018, the NFL signed a deal with a Chinese sports content platform called Tencent to stream games in China.
